SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT PRSA CHAPTER ELECTS 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Hamden, CT, January 6, 2010 — Members of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) elected its 2010 Board of Directors during the group's recent annual meeting.

The membership named Michelle Wade of Hamden, the director of communications for the New Haven Public Schools, as chapter president; Barbara Arusiewicz of Milford, sales and marketing manager at the United Illuminating Company, as vice president; Tricia Caldwell of North Haven, communications manager at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, as chapter treasurer; and John Hodgins of Branford, senior communications associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, as secretary.

Also approved as members-at-large: Wilson Camelo of Hamden, agency principal at Bauzá & Associates Hispanic Marketing; Pat Connor of New Haven, senior public relations specialist at MetLife; Evelyn Cemadas Gard of Beacon Falls, director of public relations and marketing at Gateway Community College; Mary Ingarra, APR, of North Branford, manager of public affairs at Connecticut Water Company; John Morgan of Woodbury, associate vice president for public relations at Quinnipiac University; and Danielle Swift of Orange, director of communications and public relations at Planetree.
